I’ve been put in charge of finding a craft for my daughter’s Kindergarten Valentines Day party when I came across these. What a fun idea, and great way to use up all those boxes of half lost puzzle pieces (if you have kids, you know what I’m talking about – does anyone out there have a full puzzle set after a few weeks with a child???) In any case, what an awesome idea… pre-make the heart frame out of cardboard or cardstock, and then let the kids go crazy painting the pieces and gluing them together. They also look great with the brown/natural backing if the kids don’t have time to paint. Then just tie them up with a string or ribbon – burlap bow would look great if you did the natural backing. Love this!!
