Fall decor can be tricky (at least for me). I’m not always super into the usual fall stuff, the big round fake orange pumpkins and all the bright colors that don’t work well with the color scheme in my home. I love natural decor look for fall – burlap, twigs, wood, neutral leaves. I came across these super cute non-traditional painted pumpkins by Simply Kierste, and I LOVE them!! I love that while they are cutesy and bright, they are not big plump and round like usual pumpkins. And they are made from aged wood, which is super cool – the split lines and aged look of the paint looks fantastic. I really love these with the colors she used, but I also think they’d look great using stained wood or neutral paints as well. This one might be on my to do list for this weekend!
